This achievement reflects months of hard work from the EchoBolt team completing extensive laboratory calibrations followed by multiple site test campaigns and procedural audits.
This represents the final hurdle in the commercial development of the EchoBolt inspection technique and provides confidence for wind turbine operators that in-service fasteners can be accurately monitored, ensuring compliance with DNVGL-ST-0361 Machinery for Wind Turbines, for inspection of bolted connections.
This milestone enables EchoBolt inspections to be carried out with customers throughout the remainder of the year, avoiding time consuming hydraulic retightening maintenance campaigns.
